We gave up on the Pizza Contest concept. (My theory is that they got tired of me winning all the time, but others may disagree.) The family gift exchange and pizza contest was conducted with the usual pomp and circumstance.
This year we rolled the dough and made the pizzas. The fun part was that the kids rolled their dough and made their own pizzas (with help when needed). Charis made instructions and provided mats and pizza peels and the word on the street is that the kids loved it. All of this years pizzas were excellent.

A pizza contest ... it's always a nice way to spend an evening with your family.
And, as always, should anybody ask: I won.If you have a pizza contest, I'd be interested in knowing how it turned out.
NOTE: I'm STILL wondering if it's possible to make a BAD pizza.
